NZ Buyer Snaps Up Noosaville Unit

A New Zealander building a new home at Noosa Heads on the Sunshine Coast has snapped up a commercial storage unit at Noosaville after just one day of viewing properties.

The businessman has purchased a vacant 137 sqm unit at 8/11B Venture Drive, Noosaville, for $240,000 in a deal negotiated by Ray White Commercial Noosa & Sunshine Coast’s John Petralia on behalf of an interstate vendor.

“This is a case of the early bird, or a Kiwi in this instance, getting the worm,” Mr Petralia said.

“The New Zealand buyer has shown his confidence in the region by viewing a number of sites and negotiating on a price in one day. The businessman was looking for a site to store equipment, materials and furnishings while he builds his dream home in Noosa. The buyer inspected a number of similar properties, which didn’t take too long as there is a shortage in this size range.

“After thinking about the properties for a couple of hours he made an offer which was then countered by the vendor.  The buyer immediately lifted his offer which was accepted.

“There had been solid interest in the property and there was a disappointed other party who had inspected the property a number of times, measuring it and bringing in an associate to determine its suitability for his needs.

“When there is limited stock and a strong market you need to be willing to act in order to secure a quality property.”
